It has been a few days since I took the time to blog. I have been busy. I spent most of the day today helping a family from our church move to a different house. They have 4 kids and needed more space. Now they have it. It is nice to see others chip in to help out friends.
The rest of the day was spent at the new building working out the details for the audio/video for the auditorium. I also spent some time with the gentlemen installing the phone system. It is all starting to come together. Wednesday night a group met at the new building after our services in our old building. Some of the class teachers were claiming ownership of their new classrooms. I claimed mine several months back. Before we left the building we had a prayer to ask God to help us be able to finish the building quickly. We need to finish the parking lot which we cant do until it quits raining. It has been very rainy for the past 45 days. It rained again tonight! :(
Wednesday was our second "family feast". Barbecue. We had many more in attendance than the first night. I pray that it continues to multiply in numbers every week. It was a very good fellowship. I think this is what it is all about. The meal time gives people a chance to find out what is going on in others lives. When we know what is going on with everyone, we then have a chance to help out the ones that are struggling. We hope to be able to expand this to the community once we are in our new digs.
Tomorrow I am going to watch the Indians play their final home game. Well I will only be able to stay for just the first half because I have to get home to watch the Hogs beat Tennessee. Go Hogs!

How 'bout them Hogs!!!!!!
I'm going to Starkville next week to watch us clinch the West!!!
I'm guessing we'll bump up to #6 (though we could be as low as #8 depending on how the voters looks at WV & Louisville). I could make a good argument for #4 (ahead of Notre Dame & Florida), but I know that won't work.
If we go to #6, I think it's set up where we would be national champs if we never lost another game this year. But that's thinking awfully high...
